Production Assistant, 15-25 hours per week (flexible)

A confident individual is required to assist a busy design team within a Witham-based publishing company. The successful candidate will work across an expanding portfolio of magazines, to file artwork, liase with clients by email and phone and generally help with the administration of the department.

This position would suit an individual with administrative experience looking to expand their knowledge of the publishing industry, must be able to work flexible hours dependent on the departments workload.

The candidate must:

• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Have a confident telephone manner
• Have strong organisational skills
• Be computer literate, Mac and Adobe Creative Suite 4 experience preferred but not essential
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Have excellent time management skills
• Be a team player

Advertising Sales Executive

Salary: NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
ON TARGET EARNINGS £25-£30K

We require intelligent self motivated and mature sales people to sell advertising in a range of consumer and business magazines including twelve county based wedding magazines under the County Wedding Magazines brand and a number of trade magazines for the Gift, Craft, Fashion Accessories and Bridal market .

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year media advertising experience (although not essential), a proven track record of achievement and an enthusiastic approach to winning business.

Responsibility will be given from the outset (after product training) and good sales people will soon reach OTE's of £30k+.

This is not a call centre style sales environment and there will be a requirement to visit some exhibitions and trade shows, so client facing skills are also important.
